Mechanic - Fleet / Heavy Equipment
Salt Lake City Area
Full Time. $32-38/ hr. (DOE) + Benefits

What You’ll Do

• Diagnose and repair diesel, hydraulic, and electrical systems
• Maintain and service fleet vehicles + heavy equipment
• Work on directional drills, excavators, trenchers, trailers, and more
• Perform preventative maintenance to reduce downtime
• Handle field service calls when equipment breaks down
• Complete welding/fabrication as needed
• Keep equipment safe, reliable, and job-ready

What We’re Looking For

• Experience with heavy equipment, diesel, or fleet repair
• Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills
• Knowledge of hydraulics, electrical, and diesel engines
• Ability to work independently and efficiently
• Welding/fabrication experience is a plus
• Must have own tools
• Valid driver’s license required
• CDL is a bonus (but not required) Work Environment
• Shop + field work
• Outdoor conditions (heat, cold, dust) *
• Hands-on, fast-paced environment
