Exciting Leadership Opportunity: Surveillance Department Manager!

Are you ready to take your career to the next level? We’re looking for a dynamic and experienced individual to oversee all aspects of our Surveillance Department. In this pivotal role, you’ll ensure compliance with gaming regulations and company policies while maintaining a top-notch, highly efficient surveillance operation. Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and manage the Surveillance Department, ensuring regulatory compliance and adherence to internal controls.
  • Serve as the primary liaison between the property and the gaming commission.
  • Supervise, train, and develop surveillance staff to optimize their performance in observing both gaming and non-gaming activities.
  • Respond swiftly and decisively to suspicious or unusual activities that may violate gaming regulations.
  • Oversee hiring, training, and disciplinary actions for team members, fostering a high-performance team.
  • Drive operational efficiency and productivity within the department.
  • Conduct training and testing across all gaming areas to ensure compliance with regulations and policies.
  • Prepare regular, insightful reports on department activities and concerns.
  • Ensure confidentiality is upheld within the department at all times.
  • Collaborate with law enforcement and internal teams on investigations.
  • Develop and maintain a strategic plan for the Surveillance Department, with regular updates for management.
  • Foster strong interdepartmental relationships to ensure effective operational support across the property.
  • Stay ahead of industry trends by researching and integrating best practices to ensure compliance with evolving regulations.
  • Manage surveillance inventory and ensure the smooth operation of all equipment.
  • Lead the transition from tape media to digital surveillance systems, planning and overseeing implementation and ongoing maintenance.
  • Prepare and maintain the department’s budget.
  • Contribute to additional projects and tasks as assigned by management.
Qualifications:
  • Must be at least 21 years of age.
  • A minimum of 5 years of surveillance experience, with supervisory experience preferred.
  • In-depth knowledge of table games rules, procedures, and gaming regulations.
  • Proficient with surveillance software and Microsoft Office programs.
  • Familiarity with surveillance equipment like handheld radios and video recording systems.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain required certifications and licenses as per local gaming regulations.
