Position Summary
So, this is a lead Superintendent role. You’d be the one running the site day-to-day, keeping the team and subs moving, and making sure the job stays on schedule and budget. Pretty straightforward—sometimes you’ll handle things yourself, other times through your supervisors.
- Must have 7+ years of experience leading the process in building Garden or Podium Wrap type projects, from start up through completion. This is a must-have requirement, so please only apply if you meet it
- Experience also with cast-in-place and precast garage construction is preferred
- Proven experience on running large sites and successful completion of schedule, budget, client satisfaction and safety.
- Negotiate changes with subcontractors
- Ensure compliance with safety, policies, and contracts
- Coordinate project activities with staff and subs
- Review reports, schedules, and adjust as needed
- Meet with project teams to resolve issues and give direction
- Oversee project execution: safety, budget, schedule, quality, equipment, and resources
- Ensure project commitments are met on time
- Review and approve pay estimates, invoices, and change orders
- Lead status meetings and problem-solving efforts
- Contribute to estimating/bid process during procurement
- Handle additional duties as assigned, including travel for meetings, site visits, and training
- MULTIFAMILY Construction Experience (Projects $40MM)
- Garden / Walk-Up Style project experience required
- Scheduling Expertise
- Communication skills
- Negotiating | Contracts skills
- Ability to work well with a team & manage multiple employees as needed
- Impeccable organizational skills
- 7+ years of construction superintendent experience in the MULTIFAMILY ground-up / new-construction industry with 2+ garden style projects completed required.
